Zane Sparks was introduced to the outdoors at an early age, learning the fundamentals of hunting and outdoor life from his father. By the age of four, Zane was already developing the skills and respect for the outdoors that would shape his lifelong passion.
His love for hunting grew quickly through countless trips chasing small game like rabbits, dove, and squirrels. Recognizing Zane’s natural draw to deer hunting, his father began preparing him early—literally carrying him into treestands to help him overcome a fear of heights. By nine years old, Zane harvested his first deer with a shotgun while hunting from the ground.
While Zane enjoyed all forms of hunting, deer hunting became his true passion. At just 13 years old, he took his first deer with a bow, cementing a lifelong dedication to the pursuit. From that moment on, every hunt, season, and off-season task became part of sharpening his skills for whitetail hunting. Today, that passion is year-round—whether he’s shed hunting, preparing food plots, hanging stands, or simply spending time outdoors with family.
Zane is married to his wife Amanda and is a devoted family man with 3 kids. Deer hunting is more than a hobby for him—it’s a legacy passed down through generations, and one he is committed to continuing. He lives by the motto: God, family, country, and deer hunting.
As a Co-Founder of TenZero Outdoors, Zane is also an avid supporter and promoter of Pure Whitetail, Easton Archery, Tactacam Reveal cameras, and Wiebe Knives. Beyond his own pursuits, Zane is passionate about helping young hunters learn the art of deer hunting and become responsible outdoorsmen, ensuring the tradition continues for generations to come.
